Based in the Cowichan Valley on South Vancouver Island, we are dedicated to quality craftsmanship and sustainable building practices. Our skilled, reliable, and committed team delivers projects that enhance communities and stand the test of time, across Vancouver Island and beyond.

Our Accreditations

Green Isle Homes & Timberworks has been a licensed and warrantied builder in British Columbia since 2005. We work with Travelers Canada for warranty underwriting, offering new home warranty services, including home registrations, technical support, and claims handling.

Our licensing from BC Housing ensures we meet the province's 2-5-10 warranty standards, which are required for builders and warranty providers. These accreditations enable Green Isle Homes & Timberworks to facilitate building permits and construct high-quality new homes across BC.

  • Founder & Partner

    Colin has over 30 years of diverse experience in construction as a carpenter, construction manager and business owner in residential, commercial, recreational and heritage work. Since establishing Green Isle Homes & Timberworks in the Cowichan Valley in 2005, Colin has built a trusted network of suppliers, trades and consultants that can confidently deliver quality projects on time and on budget. Clients value the care, clear communication and professionalism Colin brings to their projects from pre-construction through completion.

  • Project Lead & Partner

    John has been in the wood industry for over 30 years as a joiner, carpenter, timber framer, CAD/CAM technician and construction manager. His technical expertise and in-depth knowledge of building materials, assemblies and technologies, combined with extensive project management experience, ensure quality and efficiency in all project phases. Clients and colleagues alike value John's expertise, meticulous planning, quality workmanship and positive leadership.
