Tl'kemstin Arbour, Feasibility Study
Timber frame powwow arbour, Lytton
After the 2021 wildfire, the Lytton First Nation has been rebuilding its community, and next on the list is a place to gather. The arbour is a circle of 16 timber trusses around the dance ground, designed by Scott M. Kemp Architect, with timber design by Woodland Boatworks & Timber Frame. We completed the feasibility study, and the Nation is now pursuing grant funding. When it's built, it will be a gathering place for powwows and community celebrations for generations to come.
